Carin Pluedeman, MDDr. Carin Pluedeman was born in Omaha, Nebraska and is the oldest of 5 children. You may be surprised to find out that she has had many other careers prior to medicine. She has been in the accounting, automotive and computer industries before finding her calling and realizing her gift as a Physician. She graduated from OHSU in 1993. Her entrance into medicine was not driven by financial gain; she actually made more money in the computer industry! She is in the medical field to provide excellence in treating the person and not just their current problem. She enjoys being here at DFCIC because of the community feel, which is in contrast to the many headaches of the corporate medical organizations today. And, oh yes, she loves the people here. Her main interests are scuba diving and motorcycle riding. She enjoys the outdoors, gardening and writing poetry, of which some has been published. Her goal is to provide excellence in individualized medical care. |
